Admission Tests ("we", "us", or "our") helps you prepare for the Digital SAT with practice questions, AI-powered explanations, and personalized study sessions. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the name and email address your account provider shares with us (Apple lets you hide your real email behind a private relay address), along with a unique account identifier.
- Practice & progress data. Quiz sessions, answers, scores, mistakes, saved questions, and streak/activity history are stored against your account so your progress syncs across devices.
- AI explanation requests. When you request an AI-generated explanation, the question content is sent to our servers and to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate the explanation. Generated explanations are cached and may be shown to other users studying the same question — they are not linked to your identity once generated.
- Purchase information. Subscription purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed through RevenueCat, our subscription management provider. We receive your subscription status (e.g. active, expired, renewal date) but never your full payment card details.
- Notification preferences. If you enable daily study reminders, your chosen reminder time and notification permission status are stored on your device.
- Technical data. Our infrastructure providers process standard technical data (such as device type, app version, and request logs) needed to operate and secure the service.
How We Use Your Information
- Create and maintain your account, and sync your practice data across devices.
- Generate and cache AI-powered answer explanations.
- Process and manage your subscription and entitlements.
- Send you optional study reminder notifications.
- Maintain, secure, and improve the app.
- Respond to support requests.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that help us run the app and, on our public website, with our advertising partner:
- Supabase — hosts our database and handles authentication.
- OpenAI — generates AI answer explanations from question content.
- RevenueCat — manages subscription entitlements across platforms.
- Apple & Google — process sign-in and, where applicable, in-app payments.
- Google AdSense — shows ads on our public website and may use cookies to personalize the ads you see and measure their performance.
Cookies & Advertising
Our public website uses cookies for analytics and advertising. If you’re located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, Google shows its own consent message before any non-essential cookie is set, letting you choose what you consent to; if you’re in a US state with its own privacy law, Google shows an opt-out notice instead. Outside of those regions, essential cookies and analytics run by default.
You can change your choice at any time by clearing your cookies for this site to see the message again, and you can review or adjust Google’s ad personalization at Google’s Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com).
Data Retention & Account Deletion
We retain your account and practice data for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings within the app. Deleting your account immediately and permanently removes your quiz sessions, mistakes, saved questions, and streak history — this action cannot be undone.
Your Choices
- Sign out at any time from your Profile.
- Disable daily reminder notifications from your device settings.
- Restore previous purchases from the Premium screen.
- Permanently delete your account and data from Settings.
Children's Privacy
Admission Tests is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the app.
